Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using BundleMaker. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

BundleMaker is a web-based tool that helps legal professionals compile PDF documents into indexed, court-ready bundles. The service is provided "as is" for professional use.

2. Your Account

You must provide a valid email address to create an account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure
You must be at least 18 years old to use BundleMaker
One person may not maintain more than one free account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use BundleMaker only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Upload documents that contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
Use the service to process documents you do not have the right to compile or share
Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
Use automated scripts to generate bundles in bulk without prior written permission
Resell or sublicense access to BundleMaker without written permission

4. Your Documents

      You retain full ownership of all documents you upload. BundleMaker claims no rights to your content. Every uploaded document is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 24 hours of upload — sooner if you remove it or start a new bundle. Generated bundles are automatically deleted within 2 hours.
    

By uploading documents, you confirm that you have the legal right to do so and that processing them through BundleMaker does not violate any applicable law, court order, or confidentiality obligation.

5. Subscription & Billing

Free plan: Includes 3 bundle generations at no cost. No credit card required.
Paid plans: Billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account page. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days notice of any price increases via email.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first paid subscription charge if you are not satisfied with the service. To request a refund, email support@bundlemaker.app within 7 days of your charge. After 7 days, charges are non-refundable.

7. No Legal Advice

      BundleMaker is a document formatting tool only. It does not provide legal advice. The output bundles are formatting aids — you are solely responsible for verifying that your filings comply with all applicable court rules and deadlines.
    

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

BundleMaker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output bundles will be accepted by any particular court.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BundleMaker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or court filing failures arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@bundlemaker.app. Upon termination, your account data is permanently deleted.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
